About the Chef:
“Beginning my journey in Northern Florida’s Apalachicola National Forest, I was intrigued with food at a very young age. My Grandfather was farming his land in Sopchoppy and I was lucky enough to reap the benefits of his bounty. Along with the wild game my Uncles hunted in the forest and the fish my father and siblings pulled out of the local fishing hole, I learned to appreciate the work that goes into a locally harvested feast. This organic education and the family memories we created over these phenomenal meals drove my passion and curiosity for food that lead me into my journey of culinary arts.
At Danville Harvest, I use the same philosophies that I learned cooking with my family on the farm in Florida. Find sustainably raised ingredients, sourced locally to support our culinary community, and cook them with respect utilizing techniques that let these spectacular products shine as the highlight of the dish. My cooking not only allows me to tell my story, but the story of the artisan crafters, farmers, and fishermen that I’ve met along the way that put their hard work and dedication into their craft.” – From Danville Harvest website
