Four Oaks San Ramon Year to Date Report January 2012 to October 2013 – Four Oaks is a community of large homes off San Ramon Valley Blvd., up on the hill. These homes were built by Standard Pacific Homes and were originally built in 1998. The sizes of these homes varies from 2200 plus sq ft to 3500 sq ft plus. The earliest recorded resale in this area was in September 2000 and since then there have been only 35 resale’s. There was only 1 sale in 2000; 3 in 2001; 6 in 2002; 4 in 2003; 6 in 2004; 1 each in 2007 and 2008; 2 in 2009; zero sales from 2009-2011; 4 in 2012; 4 in 2013. Just from the number of sales, it is very evident that this neighborhood has been very stable, even through the rough markets of the downturn when the inventory went down to zero as opposed to other sub divisions in San Ramon that saw a lot of turnover.
The neighborhood is close to the freeway and great for folks who commute to the South bay to take the 680 South freeway and also to San Francisco on 680 North. Shopping is about 1.5 miles away going south and also north on San Ramon Valley Blvd. Four Oaks is situated very close to Forest Farms in San Ramon. Forest Farms is a historic 16 acre park located at the base of the East Bay Hills and Oak Creek. Farmers market is hosted here in the summer
