I have been living in San Ramon since 1999 when the population of the city was a little short of 46,000. Although the population marker never got updated on the freeways and for years it showed 23,000!
The biggest attraction for me to live in San Ramon were the beautiful tree lined streets, the feel of a small and sleepy town with beautiful rolling hills on the West side of San Ramon.
The most beautiful sight used to be in the winters when the rain and clouds would descend on the Bollinger Hills area and the street and home lights would twinkle through the misty cover… ahh it was a divine sight!
If you have driven through Bollinger Canyon, between San Ramon Valley Blvd and Alcosta Blvd, the huge trees lining the road would be in the full splendor during the Spring and summer months.
Fall brought down the vibrant leaves giving the branches a desolate and bleak look and yet they would hold a certain beauty about them.
There are numerous parks throughout San Ramon that offer a place to walk your dog, play with your children or take a leisurely stroll and enjoy the scenery.
There are tons of delicious restaurants of all different cuisines throughout San Ramon. The convenience of having essential shopping such as Target, Home Depot, and Whole Foods are right there for you!
I absolutely love being a resident in San Ramon and helping others call this place home. I truly believe is it one of the best places in the world to raise your family and create a fulfilling life for yourself.
San Ramon has also been enlisted in the Top 50 safest cities in California !
