The desirable neighborhood of Blackhawk is known for its elaborate houses and smattering of celebrities – is located in the rolling hills of Tassajara Valley east of Blackhawk.
This community at the base of Mt. Diablo has luxurious residential neighborhoods that are surrounded by thousands of acres of permanent open lands.
The homes in Blackhawk are mostly known for their opulence and grandeur, although there are condos, townhouses, and smaller tennis villas that are part of the development.
Many of the homes are well over 5000 sq. ft., and a handful are truly sprawling mansions. Blackhawk has breathtaking views of Mt. Diablo – the East Bay landmark – along with sweeping views of the surrounding valleys and open space.
The schools in Blackhawk are part of the San Ramon Valley School District, arguably one of the top school districts in the Bay Area.
