Rama Mehra Treats Her Hardworking Team to Indian Cuisine at Chaat Bhavan in Dublin, CA: Yesterday, I invited my Team to dine with me at a new local Indian restaurant called Chaat Bhavan. Located at Grafton Station in Dublin, CA, this new restaurant is brand new and just opened on July 18th. They feature authentic vegetarian dishes prepared with fresh and high quality ingredients. Their large menu includes selections of famous food from all over India. With high regards to their customer’s health, Chaat Bhavan is a fabulous restaurant not to be missed
Friends who joined me were Sunil, my husband and Lead Buyer Specialist; Bhamini Patel my Showing Agent; Kellie Langewisch my Marketing and Creative Coordinator; Charde’ Henderson, Content Strategist & S.E.O. Manager at HomeFolio Magazine, and. We were also joined by our partnering Team at Financial Mechanics Group, and my son Shiv !
A few people were daunted by the extensive menu, so Sunil and I took charge and ordered for the group, selecting various dishes that we knew would satisfy. It was some people’s first time ever eating Indian food! An expert’s opinion was definitely in need. We started off with Paneer Pakora and Mixed Pakora which came with two chutney dipping sauces. Makki Ki Roti followed which is a yellow maize flour bread served with Saag. Following was a cold dish called Dahi Bateta Sev Poori, and Bhatura, a deep fried bread. Next came Dum Aaloo potatoes, Chholey, a garbanzo curry, and of course, fresh warm naan. Everyone was pleasantly delighted with the wide arrangement of Indian cuisine, bursting with intense flavors and aromatic spices. Although there was no meat involved, everyone was stuffed after such a fulfilling meal!
I am selective in choosing my Indian restaurants as so many local restaurants make non-authentic Indian food. Having lived and grown up in India, I know what is the real deal, and what is not. Chaat Bhavan definitely exceeded my expectations for delicious Indian cuisine, and it will not be the last time we visit!
