A LOOK BACK ON THE REAL ESTATE MARKET IN SAN RAMON AND OTHER AREAS

Hey I’m just popping in here to let you know what an interesting 2022 has been for real estate. In fact, it has been an incredibly interesting 2 and a half – 3 years ever since we got hit with COVID and how the market has shifted and changed.

And honest to God, when I look back on the last 2 and a half years and see how dramatically the prices went up and everything changed and how dramatically in the last 6-7 months things have come down.

It is pretty astonishing. We’ve some amazing clients that we’ve had a chance to work with.

We’ve had some phenomenal sellers that we’ve worked with we’ve been savvy.

Who’ve understood the market and that the market is shifting and they have adjusted their expectations accordingly

And similarly we’ve had some fantastic buyers that we are working with. Who have seen the opportunity, seized the opportunity to move forward with the hope that when the rates come down they will refinance and get some lower rates.

SELLERS AND BUYERS OF LISTING IN SAN RAMON, CA

Just giving you an example of a wonderful gentleman we happened to represent. Our seller on Casella Court, and a big shout out to Grant and Jan, and a big shout out to our buyer Dilip and Kruthi and my team member Kellie who represented the buyers and did a phenomenal job. She worked with them for over a year off and on and I have been working with Grant and Jan for the last couple of months, we got the house ready and the market pretty much shifted on the dime.

And we sat on the market for a while. And then we adjusted the price.

It is so amazing when you’re working with clients wo are there, who understand your pain out there, trying to market and sell their home and they adjust their requirements, expectations and cooperate every step of the way.

And similarly with our clients, the buyers, who were not getting the home that they were looking for and finally, when you showed them Casella, they really did love the house. But they did have some hesitations and we really slowly counseled them and guided them through the whole process.

And this is just one example.

There are so many examples of some wonderful people that we’ve had the pleasure to represent.
