The Echo Ridge neighborhood in San Ramon is an established private community of mid-sized homes with resort-quality amenities. Echo Ridge borders the Canyon Lakes Golf Course, giving residents of this San Ramon community have easy access to this public golf course. Echo Ridge is in a 24-hour gated community located off Bollinger Canyon Road.

Mid-sized homes for sale at modest prices

The homes for sale at Echo Ridge tend to be modest both in size and price.  Built by Grupe Homes between 1990 and 1994.  They built 117 zero-lot line homes with two or three bedroom and 1,800 to 2,000 square feet floorplans.  Most lots were between 2,700 to 4,000 square feet with 2 car garages.

These homes were well-constructed luxury homes and most have been beautifully maintained and updated. You'll find an open floor plan, moderately sized rooms, private courtyards and backyards.  Being slightly older and smaller than newer homes, Echo Ridge homes tend to be priced a little lower.  The good news is that the purchase price might be even lower if you work with an experienced real estate agent who can negotiate for you.

Resort Style Amenities

There are two HOA's for the Echo Ridge Neighborhood.  Canyon View HOA is the community association that provides the security guards, maintains the guard entrance, community landscaping, tennis courts, and dog stations.  They also provide a PAR Fitness Course with jogging trail and stations at regular intervals with equipment for calisthenics like pull-ups, push-ups, sit-ups, etc. The second HOA is for Echo Ridge community and it provides the parking passes, community rules & regulations, along with the community pool & spa.

The Canyon Lakes Golf Course is a public course directly across Bollinger Canyon Road. Tee times range from the early morning until evening. It’s often easy to book a time that’s just a day or two out, and sometimes even on the same day. The affordability of a public course and availability of tee times make this a great local course, which happens to be excellent.  The golf course goes through the Canyon View community and homes that back-up to the course have amazing views.

San Ramon’s excellent schools

The communities throughout San Ramon virtually all have access to excellent schools, and Echo Ridge is no exception. Academic ratings are high at every level from elementary to high school, and there are lots of opportunities to participate in sports, music, arts, STEM projects, or other extracurricular activities. The California High School, in particular, has been recognized as a National Blue Ribbon School and California Distinguished School in past years.

Complementing the public schools serving this community, there also are religious, classical, and other private schools within an easy drive.

Quick access to 680 freeway

When you need to head out of San Ramon, whether for a commute or a weekend away, Interstate 680 offers easy access to almost anywhere you’d want to drive. Pick it up just a couple of intersections away, and take over to Walnut Creek, Pleasant Hill, Milpitas or San Jose. It also connects with I-580 in San Ramon, if you want an alternative route or to go east or west.
