If you recently are adjusting to a new job, taking care of the sick loved one or anything at all the causes you to be stressed, put your renovation plans aside and schedule it for another time.

3. The weather is not on your side.

If you have the money, skills, time and good mental space to renovate, then the final thing to double-check is the timeline of the renovation project. Make sure the weather at the start, during and finishing of the project are good so that you wouldn't waste any resources and materials during the process.
